Final Fantasy 15 New Video Showcases More of Luminous Engine and Motion Capture

Cool, another trailer for the game that will never release!

Final Fantasy 15

We don’t know when (or if…) Final Fantasy XV will actually launch (almost certainly never), but hey, on the plus side, at least we have nearly a decade’s worth of development progress and marketing material for the game to track, right? For instance, take this new video for the game, shown off at CEDEC 2015 last month- whereas it’s not exactly a consumer facing trailer for the game meant to rouse excitement and hype by showing a collection of intense scenes or narrative moments, this video is pretty cool, because it shows us more of the Luminous Engine (Square Enix’s proprietary in house engine tech solution that probably will never see much use), as well as the motion capture. In other words, it’s a good development side facing video.

Check it out for yourself below. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy XV, née Versus XIII, is due out on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4… eventually. Look, we’ll know by March next year, okay?
