Final Fantasy 15 Opening CG Cutscene Is Great

Listen to my story.

The Final Fantasy series is known for having some absolutely fantastic opening CG cutscenes – the ones in Final Fantasy 4, Final Fantasy 6, and Final Fantasy 10 are especially iconic. So does it really come as a surprise to anyone that Final Fantasy 15‘s opening cutscene looks great, too? Because it looks stellar.

The actual technology here is stunning and impressive, and the cutscene also does a great job of setting the story for the rest of the game up (though for those who have not seen Kingsglaive, it will probably not be as effective as it would have been otherwise).

The cutscene is the very first thing that plays during Final Fantasy 15, which means that players who download the Judgement demo will be able to see it for themselves on their own consoles, too. Others, meanwhile, will get a chance to experience it for the very first time when Final Fantasy 15 launches on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 worldwide on November 29.
