We knew that Square Enix had planned to show off Final Fantasy 15 at this year’s Gamescom but it appears the company is making sure everyone knows just how much attention they’re giving the game. A recent blog post on the game’s official website lays out the plans for the game at the gaming conference, saying it will be taking up the “main stage.” The post points out that there will be “exciting stage presentations with key people that will offer us new insights into the ever elusive game.”

While Square Enix is clearly looking to bring quite a bit of attention to Final Fantasy 15, that won’t be the only game it’s showing off at Gamescom. In fact, the firm is going to be displaying the PC version of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, and Episode Duscae 2.0. Most of those on the list will have some sort of demo so people can get a better look at what the company has on tap.

What we don’t know yet is if Square Enix is going to finally come up with a release date that we can all look forward to when it comes to the game. The company is saying that this particular show is the biggest in the Company’s history. If the event truly is as big as they’re touting, it could mean a very big year in general for the firm. We’ll have to wait and see just how much they show off when Gamescom officially launches in Cologne Germany starting August 5 and lasting until August 8.
