It looks like Square Enix are getting really ambitious with the upcoming PS4 Pro version of Final Fantasy 15– in a new Active Time Report (via Siliconera), Square Enix confirmed that Final Fantasy 15 will aim for giving players the choice of either playing at 1080p with 60fps, or at 4K with 30fps, if players own a PS4 Pro.

As always, it wasn’t clear whether the 4K resolution will be native or achieved via upscaling techniques. About the game’s performance and frame rate, director Hajime Tabata said that the frame rate is somewhere between 4-50fps in the current build, but that work continues so that the team can hit the 60fps target.

A new demo for the game will also be released on PSN and Xbox Live, on November 11. It will let you play from the game’s start up to around halfway through the first chapter. Final Fantasy 15, meanwhile, is due out on November 29.
