Final Fantasy 15 – Unannounced Expansion Will Change The Game’s Foundation

Square looking to evolve Final Fantasy 15 further.

Final Fantasy 15 is a great game, but it could be so much more. There are several baffling design decisions, a lot of things that it starts, but forgets to develop or go anywhere with, and others that it simply fails to do outright. Put simply, it’s a great game that could be even better- which is why it is heartening to hear Square Enix’s Hajime Tabata discuss how he plans to improve the game further with expansions and DLC.

“We will evolve our released game Final Fantasy XV more and more, and together with it, we will also evolve,” Tabata told Famitsu in an interview (translated by DualShockers). “We will further evolve the foundation and know-how of Final Fantasy XV in preparation for new initiatives.

“Final Fantasy XV is undergoing development for the updates,  and we’re also working on an unannounced awesome expansion, so please look forward to it.”

So that’s good to know- let’s hope these improvements come soon. Final Fantasy 15 is available now for PS4 and Xbox One.
