Final Fantasy 15 Will Be Getting A New Game Plus

Among other things.

FINAL FANTASY XV_20161019190356

Final Fatasy 15 is now finally out, but that does’t quite mark the end of this ten year long odyssey yet. Square Enix and Hajime Tabata’s team do intend to keep supporting the game post launch, and it looks like some of that post game support will entail ways to make the game harder and more challenging for yourself.

The Holiday Pack DLC for the game will apparently include some kind of a New Game Plus mode, as well as a level limiter feature that will let you put a cap on how high a level you or your party members can attain, keeping things sufficiently challenging by not allowing you to grind your way to victory.

The best part is that the Holiday Pack will be absolutely free for everyone, although a beefier, more featured version of it will be released for owners of the Season Pass, too. Now that’s what I call good post launch support. It reminds me of CD Projekt RED with The Witcher 3.
