Final Fantasy 15 was originally supposed to be getting three new DLC expansions this year- but it seems like it will be getting an extra one to boot on top of those three. Square Enix has confirmed that they intend to release a fourth new DLC pack for the game in addition to the three that were already due. The fourth expansion pack is slated for 2019, and as of right now, is going to be the final DLC pack that Square releases for the title.
Assuming that it is, that would be stupendous support for the game, which originally launched in late 2016- in an era where developers for single player games usually don’t bother with more than a year of post launch support, having over two years is something that is noteworthy, and should definitely be lauded.
Final Fantasy 15 is available now on PS4 and Xbox One; a version of the game is also due to launch on PC early next month.
Originally, FFXV was supposed to have three episodes that will come in 2018 (Starting with Episode Ardyn). That plan has changed to 4 DLC episodes and will take up until 2019 to wrap all up (spread out). https://t.co/GuAFiiaLU1 pic.twitter.com/Okcw6VYbyn

To elaborate on that, similar to first Season Pass, each content will be spread out. The Final DLC Episode for FFXV will launch in 2019. The first will be Episode Ardyn reportedly sometime this year. The team decided to take their time to finish it off instead of rushing.
