Leading up to the June 22 release date for Final Fantasy 16, Square Enix and PlayStation have released a new trailer for the game. The trailer, dubbed Next Gen Immersion Trailer, focuses on how Final Fantasy 16 makes use of the PS5’s hardware and software features. Check out the trailer below.

The trailer lists various features of the game, such as fast load times when traveling through the world of Valisthea, the use of the PS5’s 3D audio system for sound and music design, and the use of DualSense controller features like adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

Square Enix has been pumping up its marketing efforts for Final Fantasy 16, most recently by releasing a free demo which can be downloaded through the PlayStation Store, and allows players to play through the game’s prologue, as well as a mid-game dungeon with more abilities unlocked to provide a taste of the game’s battle system.

Final Fantasy 16 also got a live action trailer earlier this month showing off battles against Titan Lost and Garuda, among many others.

Final Fantasy 16 is being released exclusively on the PS5.
