Final Fantasy 16 is Still No. 1 in Famitsu’s Most Wanted Charts

Final Fantasy 16 and the PS5 version of Capcom's Pragmata are the only non-Switch upcoming releases in this week's top 10.

Famitsu has released its latest weekly charts for the most highly anticipated upcoming games, as decided by votes from its readers, and Square Enix’s upcoming PS5 exclusive, Final Fantasy 16, has topped the charts again, which is has been doing for a number of weeks running at this point. Meanwhile, once again, the top 10 is largely dominated by upcoming Switch releases, with the only other non-Switch game in the charts being the PS5 version of Pragmata at No. 10.

The vast majority of the other games in the top 10 are upcoming Switch exclusives, with Splatoon 3 coming in at second place, Bayonetta 3 at No. 5, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 at No. 7, and LIVE A LIVE at No. 9. Kirby and the Forgotten Landwhich hadn’t yet launched when voting for these charts took place, is in at No. 3, while The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s sequel, which recently got delayed to 2023, takes the fourth spot.
