Final Fantasy 7 Remake is getting close, and Square Enix has been on the marketing trail for the first part in the project. Producer Yoshinori Kitase has been making the rounds (and seemingly is okay with working on the game for the rest of his career), and today there’s a new interview of a very different sort from him and an unexpected tag team partner.

In a 23-minute interview, Kitase sat down with AEW star Kenny Omega. The video is in Japanese, but does include English subtitles. In it, Omega asks tons of questions about the upcoming remake, the original title, Kitase’s personal favorite parts of the franchise, and even a few unrelated questions about other franchises. You can check it out below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Kenny Omega, he is a wrestler currently working for the new AEW promotion, where he is one half of the tag team champions as of writing this. He made a big splash working in Japan years ago, with many considering him one of the best modern wrestlers out there. While the pairing may seem random, Omega is known to be a video game fan. For instance, he calls his big finish The One-Winged Angel (the iconic musical track from Final Fantasy 7), and has been known to cosplay as various game characters in big matches.
