final fantasy 7 remake

Five years after the original announcement, and even more so after all of the teasing (remember that PS3 tech demo that got us all hot and bothered by recreating the opening scene of the original Final Fantasy 7? I do), Final Fantasy 7 Remake is finally here. Despite some shortage issues, the RPG has hit hard and fast, going by the sales. The game isn’t just a financial success, however- the critics drooled all over it, too.

Square Enix have dropped a trailer that collects some of the major accolades the game got from various publications. The game is sitting on a strong Metacritic and OpenCritic, so there’s a lot they have to pick from. You can learn more about the game and what we thought of it in our review through here.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is available now only on PlayStation 4. The second part of the remake project is already in development, so hopefully we won’t have to wait long to see how the story continues.
