Final Fantasy Resonance might have dropped its most exciting Vision yet, as its latest trailer tells us of a mysterious race that once coexisted with humans, but is now drawn into a conflict with an apathetic empire and some tenacious rebels.
Terra Branford from Final Fantasy 6 finds herself a part of it without really knowing her purpose in the grander scheme of things. Well, that’s where we come in. Her abilities as a mage are the perfect addition to a party that’s setting out to save the Crystals and the whole world, too. We’ve already seen some seriously cool abilities from the likes of Noctis, the Regal Prince, and Squall Leonheart, but Terra’s ability to harness the power of the elements in their purest form might be destructive in a way that’s impossible to survive.
They certainly hit a wide area, and with so much power, enemies caught in the blast are sure to wither away, unable to withstand the onslaught of pure energy. Of course, we’re expecting her to be a tad too spongy to balance that out, and we’ll have to be quite strategic about unleashing her most powerful moves in the heat of battle.
