The Final Fantasy series’ slow migration to PC continues as Final Fantasy 10 and its sequel Final Fantasy 10-2 have both been confirmed to be the latest games in the series that will be hopping over to PC via Steam. The official Steam store page for Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster has just gone live- the game itself is due to launch this Thursday, on May 12.

In addition to having the remastered graphics and soundtrack, as well as the expanded gameplay and content from the International Edition for the game, which the PS3, PS4, and PS Vita versions of the remaster also had, the PC version of the title will also have five game boosters including high speed and no encounter modes- options which PC players should greatly appreciate.

With this, all Final Fantasy titles are now available on PC, until Final Fantasy 15 releases- but even that has been confirmed for a Steam release eventually. It’s a good time to be a PC gaming fan of Japanese games.
