Square Enix has released a 2 minute long CG video of Final fantasy XIII-2, showing an epic fight between Lightning and the new baddie Caius. The video has meteor-thingie showers, explosions, sword fights, over the top platforming and distracting hair animations- typical Final Fantasy stuff. Oh, it’s also awesome.

Final Fantasy XIII-2, direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII (duh), releases in Japan on December 15, in North America on January 31 and Europe on February 3 for Xbox 360 and PS3. Stay tuned for more updates.
