Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, the newest installment of the Fire Emblem series, and a remake of an older Fire Emblem game, is out today on the Nintendo 3DS. In celebration of its launch, Nintendo has released a brand new, ‘fanfare’ trailer for the game, showcasing clips from its story, with tragedy, romance, and epic battles all on display here.

Fire Emblem Echoes has multiple changes from Fire Emblem Awakening and Fate– the pair up and romance mechanics are gone, for instance, with more of an emphasis placed on unit placement on maps and actual strategy. Dungeons, overworld exploration, and interaction are all in the game, too.

You can check out the trailer for yourself below. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia launches exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS today. Stay tuned to GamingBolt, and we will have more on the game, including our thorough and extensive review for it, soon.
