Fire Emblem Fates

As we get closer to the North American release of Fire Emblem Fates, we’re getting a new video series from Nintendo that shows off some of the new features of the upcoming Nintendo 3DS title. The latest video is geared to show off how combat works in the game and is titled Life on the Front Lines: Battle at Hand. This is certainly a helpful video for those who haven’t seen these kinds of games before.

This particular video is more than just a walkthrough of the battle though. The more than four minute production shows quite a bit of what you can expect from the game even when you aren’t in the middle of a massive fight. There are some cut scenes shown off as well as some of the actual in game mechanics. While some people might claim they want to be able to find out how this kind of combat works when they get their hands on the game, this video does gamers quite a service.

The battle mechanics in this game are complex enough that the four minute video is likely needed in order to have any clue how to play it once it comes out. It certainly seems there is going to be plenty of excitement when the game finally does come to the US, based on the fact that there is going to be a special edition Nintendo 3DS XL when it finally does hit the market. Fire Emblem Fates launches in the US on February 19, check out the video below to get an idea on what to expect.
