Over the course of the last few months, Nintendo has teased an array of characters for Fire Emblem: Three Houses. We have seen the main cast, as well as many supporting cast members. Though some of those cast members have potential hints of an antagonistic turn, we’ve really only seen allies. Well, today that changes, as we have a look at two of the game’s villains- Flame Lord and Grim Reaper Knight.

Unlike other characters, there is no video introducing the two foes, so we’ll have to settle for screenshots and artwork. Flame Lord is an enemy of the Church and recently attacked a group of students, who are saved by the main protagonist, and is a devout enemy of the Church that oversees the academy.

The second villain is the Grim Reaper Knight. A mysterious knight in skull-themed armor, he was once thought to only be a myth. No one is sure who he is or what purpose drives him, but he’s a threat to you and your allies. As is often the case in Fire Emblem stories, there’s probably more to both villains than appears (thanks to Twinfinite for the translations).

Fire Emblem: Three Houses will release on Nintendo Switch July 26th.
