First Sony branded phones revealed, named Xperia S and Xperia Ion

Posted By | On 10th, Jan. 2012

Sony recently purchased Ericsson, so that means no more Ericsson branding on their phones. Any new phones will feature the Sony branding, and oh boy, the new phones revealed at CES 12 really do look like something Sony must have made.

The Xperia Ion, which is what I’m interested in looks just gorgeous. I simply have nothing to say about the design. Take a look at it below. The phone is powered by a dual core 1.5 GHZ CPU, 16GB internal memory and a 720p display. It also comes with a 12MP camera, which is what you should expect from Sony.

These are PlayStation-certified devices.

The another phone called Xperia S, doesn’t look too bad either. It has the same specs and a slightly different design. Take a look at it below.

Beautiful isn’t it?
