First Trailer For Need for Speed Movie Is Here

It takes itself very, very seriously.

Posted By | On 26th, Sep. 2013

So, that Need for Speed movie? The one that’s gonna have Aaron Paul in it? You know? The guy who plays Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad a.k.a the greatest TV show ever (but that’s a discussion for another time)? We just got the first trailer for that. It’s posted right up there, and, uhh…

Well, it looks pretty… generic. It sounds cringe inducingly cheesy. But it does have Aaron Paul in it going through the full range of emotions that he is the best at expressing (anger to maniacal depression), and that’s a definite plus in my book. Basically, if you want my money, have Aaron Paul in whatever you are making, and I’ll go see it.

Anyway, check out the trailer above for yourself and let us know what you think. I think that it’s gonna be your typical summer blockbuster action movie, and that Paul’s acting chops deserve much better, but hey, if this gets him a foot in the door, why not.

The Need for Speed movie hits theaters March 2014.
