The Yakuza development team isn’t just working on a brand new game in the series (and the first one to not be starring series protagonist Kiryu as the main chap)- they are also working on a brand new game based on the popular Japanese animated series Fist of the North Star for the PS4, which is currently called  Hokuto Ga Gotoku.

We don’t actually know much about Hokuto Ga Gotoku just yet- we know that the game will use the Yakuza Kiwami engine, and we know that it will have a stylized look inspired by the series it is based on, but not much else. But thankfully, we now have some new art to give us an idea for what this game may end up looking like, too.

You can check out these screenshots for yourself below. Hokuto Ga Gotoku will launch exclusively on the PS4 in Japan in 2018; a western release date is not yet confirmed.
