Five Nights at Freddys 4

You just can’t keep a murderous group of animatronics down for long.

Scott Cawthon’s Five Nights at Freddy’s will be seeing a fourth and apparently final chapter according to the creator’s official website. It was updated today with the above image, which you can check out originally here. The image says “The Final Chapter, 10.31.15” which is Halloween later this year. Are there any hidden messages here, as has been the case with previous teases? We’ll have to wait for the Internet to get back to us on that one.

Five Nights at Freddy’s was thought to have concluded with the third instalment which actually took place several years after the events of the first game (the second game was actually a prequel). It featured only one killer animatronic in the form of Springtrap but various hallucinations of past characters and further details on the game’s backstory was sprinkled throughout.

What were your thoughts on the third game in the series and how can Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 possibly up the ante? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming months.
