Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location

Oh lord.

Remember Five Nights at Freddy’s, which had apparently seen its last iteration with the fourth game (and then the deeply flawed Five Nights at Freddy’s World that released way too many months early)? Creator Scott Hawthorn is teasing another follow-up. Yes, another one.

Head to the official website and you’ll see the above image with the words “Sister Location” along with the face of an animatronic of some sort. Then there’s the tagline “There was never just one”.

Joy.

This seems to suggest a completely different location for players to explore, complete with its own mechanical beasts to avoid. Will there be a significant change to the gameplay to make it more interesting and not nearly as stale as the past few titles?

One can certainly hope but one things for sure: Never trust Scott Hawthorn when he says it’s the last one. Stay tuned for more information on this Sister Location in the coming months.
