FlatOut Developer Returns With Mysterious Car Teaser

Demolition derby racing makes a return.

What is it about the next generation that is bringing racing simulator developers out of the woodwork? The latest addition to this line-up is the FlatOut and Ridge Racer: Unbound developer Bugbear Entertainment, which has released a teaser video for its next game.

Billed as the definitive demolition derby racing game, the game will apparently return to the roots of Bugbear as they answer the call of fans who’ve been asking for such a title. Considering the success of FlatOut, and the general lack of said demolition games, it’s not a bad decision at all.

An interesting point is that the unnamed project will be coming for PC and “yet to be unannounced platforms”. Considering the talk of realizing high speed carnage and debris filled scenes, it’s highly likely that we’ll see the game on the next generation of consoles like the PS4 and Next Xbox along with the current gen.
