For Honor Free Weekend Announced For May 3rd

Revamped Champion Status also coming for pre-existing owners next weekend.

Ubisoft has announced that For Honor will have a free weekend on May 3rd to 6th, allowing new players to try out the game for themselves on PS4, Xbox One and PC. As with previous free weekends, you’ll receive access to the full game. Along with the campaign, which can be played solo or via online co-op, all multiplayer modes will be available.

Any progress made during the free weekend will transfer over into the full game should you decide to pick it up. Various digital stores will have For Honor available for up to 75 percent off until May 15th, making it even easier to get into. It’s worth noting that the Warrior Training Program will return during the free weekend as well.

If you’re an existing player and complete five matches with free weekend players, then you’ll receive revamped Champion Status for up two weeks. This will bring a 40 percent XP boost at the end of a game, 20 percent XP boost aura for other players at the end of a game, more event loot, more Salvage and more end of match loot. You also receive an emblem and a Champion Status icon.
