Burstfire

Free Reign Entertainment and Nacho Games, composed of members from Hawken developer Adhesive Games, has announced a new team-based objective multiplayer shooter in the form of Burstfire. The FPS will see teams of five facing each other in a variety of different modes.

Unlike many team-based shooters, Burstfire will look to be somewhat slower and will encourage players to plan their movements and shooting rather than running and gunning. Objectives will include defending points, setting traps, assaulting positions and much more. There will be plenty of choice in weapons and gear for executing tasks, and these can be modified with attachments, skins and other means to customize one’s load-out.

Burstfire will release this summer and see regular content support with new maps and items. Fortunately, the only items that require purchase are gun skins and other cosmetic accessories. You can head here to sign up for the alpha and learn more about Burstfire from the official website. Stay tuned for more information on its release in the coming weeks.
