Former Microsoft studio manager thinks that Natal will fail

With Microsoft stating that Natal will “jumpstart” the 360, somebody thinks otherwise, and its the former Microsoft studio manager Scott Bayless.

Bayless thinks that unless Microsoft integrate Natal with the 360, it will fail.

“When I met with Microsoft in 2008 to look at Natal I asked, ‘When will you integrate this into the 360?’ he said.

“Their response was, ‘We’re probably going to wait and see on that’ To which I said: ‘Then you’re going to fail.'”

“Plays like this always fragment and the disincentive to developers is powerful,” he added.

“When I’m spending tens of millions on a game, the last thing I want to do is lose 90 per cent of my market.”

I guess we will have to wait and see how Natal will do, maybe Microsoft will surprise us for the better during their conference at E3.
