Fortnite’s Season 6 went live very recently,and since then, Epic Games has already revealed some of the great upcoming content that we will be seeing in the game this season. One dataminer has now found out that a Freeze Trap will be added to the game’s Battle Royale mode.
The Dataminer, Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks on Twitter, claims to have found files in the game’s Athena Directory, which indicates that the Freeze Trap will be coming to the game. The item will be a Rare item, and the description states that it will hit all enemies on the trap when triggered, dealing a small amount of damage to all of them, while also slowing them down. The Freeze Trap is an item that is already available in the game’s Save the World mode, but we don’t know for certain whether it will work in the same way in Battle Royale.
For now, we’ll just have to wait for the developers to officially confirm this information.
