Epic Games’ Fortnite: Battle Royale has already received its first update of the year and it’s in the form of the silenced pistol. The Epic (or Legendary) weapon has been added to supply drops, treasure chests and other loot sources throughout the world so if you’re lucky, it may drop for you.

Of course, there’s more to come than that. To celebrate the new silenced pistol addition, there will be a new limited time mode called Sneaky Silencers starting on January 5th. This mode will only feature suppressed SMGs and suppressed pistols. There are no traps and the drop rate on bushes, which can be used to sneak around as part of the scenery, has been increased. The mode will end on January 8th.

In the meantime, Epic Games released a new update for Fortnite: Battle Royale that incorporated smoke grenades, support for Xbox One X systems and new leaderboards along with new items and content for Fortnite’s PvE component.
