Epic Games’ Fortnite: Battle Royale has received a new time limited mode called Solid Gold. It’s essentially a mode where Legendary weapons, denoted by their Gold background and tier, will drop for all players. You can find them everywhere, whether it’s in treasure chests or other areas of the map. The mode is only available for Squads and not Duo or Solo queue players.
The Legendary weapons in question include the SCAR, Hand Cannon, Silenced Pistol, Minigun, Rocket Launcher, Semi-Auto Rifles and Bolt-Action Rifles. It’s a fairly nice addition to the game and helps spice things up, especially with the news that jetpacks are coming to the game soon.
It also helps for those on the Season 3 Battle Pass grind with new gear to unlock, new challenges to complete and other interesting rewards to earn. Fortnite: Battle Royale will have other time limited modes in the coming months including the return of 50v50 so stay tuned for more information.
