The End of Fortnite Chapter 2 has already wrapped but in the meantime, the trailer for Chapter 3’s first Battle Pass has already leaked. It showcases the new map – which is essentially a flipped version of the old map with new Points of Interest – along with new mechanics like sliding. Also, Spider-Man. Check it out below.
Spider-Man’s addition brings some new mechanics like web-slinging, allowing for a new level of verticality. Along with the Future Foundation and Symbiote outfits for Spider-Man, various other skins are included in the Battle Pass like Marcus and Kait from Gears of War. Some new items like a camping tent that allows for stashing items to use in future matches and a fountain that recovers shields in a radius can also be seen.
But on top of all of this are massive weather effects like a giant tornado which sucks up vehicles (that the player can glide around) and thunderstorms. Fortnite Chapter 3 is seemingly slated to arrive this week for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
