Fortnite continues to go from strength to strength, and with the third chapter of the free-to-play battle royale shooter, it’s looking to keep up its momentum. Chapter 2 recently wrapped up with “The End”, and Epic promptly fully unveiled Chapter 3, promising new characters, a flipped map, new weather mechanics, and more. Now, another new trailers focuses on some of those new characters that will arrive with the battle pass.
There’s Spider-Man, of course, who also comes with new web-slinging mechanics, but Chapter 3 will also focus on the group known as The Seven. These include the “Lotus Walker” Shanta (who’s available right now for anyone who has the battle pass), the wanderer Ronin, Lt. John Llama, the robotic Gumbo, Haven, and the outlaw Harlowe. As the season progresses, players will also be able to unlock The Foundation, the leader of The Seven, played by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Of course, as previously revealed, Chapter 3 of Fortnite will also bring with it Gears of War characters Marcus Fenix and Kait Diaz.
Fortnite is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC. Chapter 3 has now kicked off across all platforms.
