Fortnite keeps going from strength to strength, and unlike so many other live service titles, it seems to be immune to issues with a depleting fanbase. Of course, Epic Games has done an excellent job of ensuring that the free-to-play battle royale shooter’s momentum doesn’t drop, and has implemented no shortage of interesting change-ups and ideas on a regular basis. Interestingly, it seems like another one of those is on the horizon.

As shared on Twitter by reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX – and corroborated by the likes of @ShiinaBR, @GMatrixGames, and @iFireMonkey – the battle royale shooter will be adding a first person mode imminently. As per the leak, the mode will be part of the game’s next season – Season 2 of Chapter 4 – which is expected to go live in the coming days (though hasn’t yet been officially unveiled).

Given the track record of the leakers in question, it would be safe to say that there’s plenty of credibility where this leak is concerned- though until Epic announces something in an official capacity, it’d be best to tread with caution, as is the case with any of all leaks. Either way, it seems like official details will be coming in the near future, so stay tuned for more updates in the coming days.
