Fortnite Battle Royale

When Epic Games started updating Fortnite, servers went down for much longer than anticipated due to database issues. After coming back online and receiving a new patch, there were several bugs that also had to be addressed (including trouble forming parties). To compensate players for the same, Epic has announced a number of rewards for players.

All Fortnite: Battle Royale players will receive 20 Battle Stars that contribute to their Battle Pass progression (thus helping to unlock new items). Save The World players will have 1600 Seasonal Gold to spend in the Event Store. Expect these to arrive with version 2.4.0 of the game.

Fortnite has done exceedingly well for Epic Games off the back of its recent free to play Battle Royale mode. It recently crossed 40 million downloads and had a record peak of 2 million concurrent players during one weekend. In terms of content, Epic has been adding new modes and recently revamped the map to add new locations.
