Fortnite Teasing A Stranger Things Crossover

Stranger things have happened, after all.

Fortnite Season 9

Stranger Things, if you have happened to somehow miss it, is the hit Netflix TV show. It has a distinct ’80s look, vibe and leans heavily into the nostalgia in that time period. It’s becoming quite a pop culture phenomenon, even making people nostalgic for New Coke. It’s even stepped its toes into video games, and seems it very likely to do so again with another new age phenomenon, Fortnite.

Fortnite players started to notice something popping up in games recently, a mysterious portal that when entered you exit on another portal somewhere else on the map. You can check out a Twitter uploaded video below to see that it looks a lot like something straight out of Stranger Things. Considering Fortnite is no stranger (no pun intended) to major pop culture event crossovers, it’s not too out there.

Fortnite is available now across all major platforms and compatible mobile devices.
