Apparently, Forza Motorsport 6 will be a staggering 44.37 GB, according to a listing for the game that has been spotted on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The listing has since been removed, but we have a screencap of it (thanks SegmentNext,) that you can see for yourself.
This will, incidentally, make this the largest file size for any Forza game- the previous record holder was the Xbox One launch game Forza Motorsport 5, which clocked in at 35 GB. It does make sense- Forza Motorsport 6 is, as Turn 10 have reminded us multiple times, the ‘biggest game in the franchise.’ With over 450 cars, new, redone realistic physics, incredible graphics, and all those great effects, it isn’t out of the question for the game to weigh in at that size.
Forza Motorsport 6 will be the third Xbox One Forza game, after 2013’s Forza Motorsport 5, and 2014’s Forza Horizon 2. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information on the title, that is due to launch in September.
