Frame Rate Issues Reported for Destiny on Xbox One

No permanent fix yet either.

Destiny

You’d have thought that in a game like Destiny, which has players playing for hundreds and hundreds of hours at end, someone would have noticed these before, but nope, these reports only started cropping up now- apparently, frame rate issues are being reported on the Xbox One version of Destiny. The fact that people are only raising these complains now seems to indicate that the issues are caused by the latest update for the game.

The issue isn’t just imagined, either. Bungie has responded to the issue, and it has also revealed that as of right now, there is no permanent fix to the problem.

“Currently, we are investigating some players experiencing low frame-rates while using Xbox One party chat,” the developer explained on its website. “Players have reported a potential workaround you can try as we continue to investigate a fix for this issue. In some cases, refraining from using the Xbox One Party Chat app seems to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

Well… looks like Destiny is finally better on PlayStation, as promised, after all!
