Free Portal 2 Update ‘Perpetual Testing Initiative’ Out Now

Posted By | On 09th, May. 2012

Valve, people behind popular video game franchises like as Half-Life and Counter-Strike have announced the arrival of the free Portal 2 update titled Perpetual Testing Initiative.

Available now for PC and Mac, The “Perpetual Testing Initiative” allows players to easily create, share, and play Portal 2 puzzles. The Initiative comes with a simplified Puzzle Maker that allows that creation of mind-bending puzzles without ever leaving the game.

The Puzzle Maker can directly publish maps to the Steam Workshop where users can browse, vote on, and select to play them. Selected puzzles will automatically be downloaded and installed inside Portal 2.

We recently reported that Portal 2 has now sold over 4 million copies worldwide, both on the PC and consoles. Portal 2 was one of the biggest titles of 2011 featuring expansive single and cooperative multiplayer game modes.
