Whatever it is about the name that makes one think of “Jimbo”, Insomniac Games has released a new character trailer for the upcoming third person cooperative title FUSE. This one is centered on Jacob Kimble, the hot-head former detective equipped with an electric crossbow.

We get a little backstory on Jacob here, along with some gameplay showing his abilities in action. FUSE itself has three other members, each with their own unique abilities and weapons that can help turn the tide in combat.

As it stands, the team in FUSE known as Overstrike Nine have to sneak into a top-secret government facility. There they come across the alien fuel itself and have to fend off attacks from a rogue agency who wants its power for themselves.

FUSE is currently slated to release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 28th for North America and May 31st for Europe. It will reportedly not feature any online pass or micro-transactions.
