FUSE New Trailers: Take a Closer Look at the Cast

Cliches? What cliches?

Posted By | On 02nd, Mar. 2013

Insomniac Games’ latest third person cooperative shooter FUSE is quite the quandary. On the one hand, it features more cliches than you can wave a disembodied limb at. However, the house that made Ratchet & Clank knows a thing or two about shooting mechanics.

Now decide for yourselves if they know a thing or two about characters, as they’ve released individual trailers for each playable character from Overstrike Nine.

First up is Dalton Brooks, the mercenary and leader of the team who’s all business and who’s primary weapon is an energy shield.

Then we have Naya Deveraux, a former thief and information broker who reminds one of Lisbeth Salander from the Millenium Trilogy. She uses a cloaking device.

Third up is Isabelle “Izzy” Sinclair described as a gifted but rambunctious scientist who’s main weapon is mass bubble gun.

Finally we have former detective Jacob Kimble, the grizzled and temperamental man of the bunch, armed with an electric crossbow.

FUSE is slated to release in the second quarter of 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
