Game Freak might be the Pokemon studio, but they do regularly make independent stuff of their own as well. Just last year in October, they released the RPG Little Town Hero– and though it came out exclusively for the Switch, it won’t be maintaining its exclusivity much longer.

It’s been confirmed that Little Town Hero will be coming out for the PS4 on April 23- at least in Japan. There’s no word yet on whether it will be launching in the west as well. The game’s PS4 version will be published by Japanese publisher Rainy Frog. Meanwhile, a physical release in Japan for the game’s Switch version has also been confirmed.

Speaking of physical releases, it was recently confirmed that Little Town Hero will see a physical release for the Switch in North America this Spring. Hadled by NIS America, it will include the game, a poster, an artbook, a pin set, the game’s soundtrack, and a premium box. Read more on that through here.
