Game & Wario: Four Minutes of Mini-Game Footage, General Ludicrousness Revealed

Wario returns with more mini-games on the Wii U.

Posted By | On 16th, Mar. 2013

Intelligent Systems is back, this time with a new mini-game packed Wii U title Game & Wario. As a collection of mini-games, it will one of the few titles on the Wii U to rely completely on the Gamepad for playing. A new trailer has been released, indicating the general level of lunacy on-board.

For those who haven’t played a Wario mini-game collection: It’s essentially a randomly stitched together array of gaming “snippets”. Each mini-game doesn’t last for very long, and there are several characters you play as who each have their own mini-game specialty. This includes homages to old-school Nintendo games, some bizarre occurrences and – surprise – old-school Nintendo games wrapped in bizarre occurrences.

Game & Wario is set to release in Japan on March 28th while a European release date looks set for the second quarter of 2013 for the Wii U. Stay tuned and in the mean time, appreciate the randomness.
