A worthy sequel to what is perhaps one of the most underrated survival horror games of the last few years, The Evil Within 2 is exactly what fans of the first game wanted it to be- a classic, intense, thrilling horror game. It doesn’t try to re-invent the wheel, relying instead on tried and true gameplay mechanics, but when you see how expertly it blends action and horror, you begin to realize that it doesn’t really need to. The Evil Within 2 is the sort of game that will constantly keep you on the edge of your seat, and any survival horror game that can do that is aces in our book.
