Gears 5 – Batista Skin Now Available, Free Until October 28

We live in an odd time when plenty of crossovers and guest characters are becoming pretty common place. Gears 5 has been no exception to this, as it already included a Terminator themed DLC. But more is here as the actor/wrestler Batista is available now and free for a limited time.

It was announced earlier that Batista would be in the game, though no context was given for how. As it turns out, it’s a multiplayer skin for Marcus Fenix. You just have to select it under the customization option for Fenix. You don’t get just the look of the big guy, either, but over 700 lines of dialogue from him.

Gears 5 is available now for Xbox One and PC, being described as the first “Mega Hit” for Game Pass. Batista will be free to anyone who logs in between now and October 28th. No word on if you can buy the skin after that.
