Gears 5 came earlier in the year, and it was a great shot in the arm for the franchise after Gears of War 4 didn’t quite push the series forward as some hoped. The game’s multiplayer is going strong still and, of course, it’s time for some holiday cheer amongst the dismemberment, gore and executions with plenty of holiday-themed weapons, skins and items.

The holiday event is called Gearsma (yeah, seriously) and includes a holiday-themed Horde mode called Jingle Juvies filled with imp creatures where you can win 18 Ugly Gearsmas weapon skins. There’s also log in bonuses through the event’s duration that includes costumes, banners and a host of other things. You can read the full details through here.

Gears 5 is available now for both Xbox One and PC. The Gearsmas event is live now across both platforms and will run until January 2nd. For an interview with Campaign Design Director Matt Searcy about the franchise’s future, take a look through here.
