Microsoft and The Coalition’s next big game, Gears 5, is out in less than a week, with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers getting access even earlier. With the promise of re-energized combat and a new open-ended approach, it’s looking like a fresh new take on the series, and as such, people are excited to get their hands on it quite a bit.

To drive up that hype even more, Microsoft has released a launch trailer for the shooter. It promises carnage- a lot of carnage, showing some interesting its from the campaign, and promising engaging multiplayer action with its jam-packed Versus mode, the returning Horde mode, and the newest addition with Escape. Take a look below.

Gears 5 is out on September 10 for the Xbox One and PC. In our review of the game, we called it “one of Microsoft’s best games this console generation”, praising it for a campaign that “successfully revitalizes a franchise may had feared was becoming stale” and a multiplayer component that “continues to be on the top of its game.” Read our full review through here.
