Yesterday we got the full minimum and recommended system requirements for Gears 5 on PC. Today, there’s some new information for Xbox One players as well. The game’s page on the Microsoft store has been updated, and we now know what the system storage requirements for the game are going to be on the console.
Gears 5 will require nearly 58 GB of free storage space on your console- 57.72 GB to be exactly. That might seem standard when compared to the likes of, say, Red Dead Redemption 2 (which was nearly a hundred gigs), or even Fallout 76, which used to get patches nearly as large as all of Gears 5, but that’s how low our standards have fallen.
Gears 5 is out on September 10 for the Xbox One and PC. If you’re playing the game on the Xbox One X, you can expect the full suite of enhancements, from 4K and 60 frames per second to HDR support. Meanwhile, also make sure to check out the new Gears 5-themed limited edition Xbox One X through here.
