Halloween is almost here and like every year, everyone is trying to get in on that spooky season in their own way. Many games have some kind of Halloween update or event going, but Gears 5 isn’t satisfied with just one, it needs two different Halloween-themed events to get its fix.
Right now, the game has the Pumpkin Ball going on, which is a reskinned version of the Dodgeball mode. Now they’ve launched a second event, this time in Horde mode. Pumpkins play a big role here as well as the swarms of enemies you fight during the Mad Man’s Monsters all sport pumpkins on their head. Those who survive 60 waves of this variant of Horde mode will earn 13 Jack-O-Lantern skins. You can read more about it on the official blog here.
Gears 5 is available now on Xbox One and PC. Both Mad Man’s Monsters and Pumpkin Ball Dogeball will run until November 4th.
