Good news and maybe bad news for some, everything will be carrying over from Gears of War 2 to Gears of War 3. If you have a golden hammerburst, you will have it in Gears 3. Everything from the Beta will carry over but most of all the goodies you will get in Gears of War 3 will be based on the Achievement you have for the previous game. Reaching rank 100 in Gears 2 seemed to be a big one in the MTV Article with Rod Fergusson, but would not go into details. This includes Gears for the PC as well so I suppose it is a good thing I have attained every achievement in Gears of War 1, 2 and Gears of War for the PC… can you tell I’m a fan? Regardless, I can confirm what you get for what achievement once the game is released for the Xbox 360 on September 20th, if it is not announced before then.
