Gears 5 may be what we’re all abuzz about right now, but there is another Gears title on the horizon in the form of the long announced Gears Tactics. The game is a tactical strategy game set in the Gears universe. We haven’t seen a lot of the game since its announcement, but we will next month via The Game Awards 2019.
As announced via the official Twitter account for The Game Awards, it was announced that the game will be shown on the show. No word on what that will amount to, whether it’ll be a simple gameplay demo or if we’ll finally get a release date for the game. We’ll just have to tune in to see.
Gears Tactics was originally announced for PC, but was later confirmed to be coming to the Xbox One as well. The Game Awards 2019 will air live on December 12th. If you need a fix of the franchise now, don’t forget that Gears 5 is out now.
