German retailer leaks GTA 5 release date

Fingers crossed!

Grand Theft Auto 5 has already received an official release window of Spring 2013 by Rockstar itself, but that isn’t enough for retailers, is it? Dammit, greedy retailers.

First, it was Amazon who leaked a release date for GTA 5, and now it’s Germany based electronics chain Saturn that has leaked it.

According to a report at German site PC Games, the retailers are suggesting that Grand Theft Auto V will be released on March 15th this year. Interestingly, though, the PS3 product page for GTA 5 still has the default release date of December 31st listed.

The German retailers also have a box-set of GTA 5 available for pre-order, and the set includes posters as well. A pre-order costs EUR 4.99.

This release date doesn’t seem all that unlikely. It keeps in line- more or less- with the release date Amazon mentioned, and it’s also pretty close to what Rockstar said the launch period would be.

Stay tuned, we will keep you updated.
